Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Varied Fluency)
Developing Tick the sentence which has the correct spacing between letters and words in four-word sentences where CVC words are used.
Expected Tick the sentence which has the correct spacing between letters and words in five-word sentences where CVCC and CCVC words are used.
Greater Depth Tick the sentence which has the correct spacing between letters and words in six-word sentences. CVCC and CCVC words are used, with an increased amount of ascenders and descenders.

Questions 2, 5 and 8 (Varied Fluency)
Developing Circle the sentences with incorrect spacing. Sentences are made up of four words and include CVC words with one descender.
Expected Circle the sentences with incorrect spacing. Sentences are made up of five words and include CVCC and CCVC words with one descender and five ascenders.
Greater Depth Circle the sentences with incorrect spacing. Sentences are made up of six words and include CVCC and CCVC words with an increased amount of ascenders and descenders.

Developing Decide which statement is correct using knowledge of correct letter/word spacing and size. A four-word sentence featuring CVC words and a descender is used.
Expected Decide which statement is correct using knowledge of correct letter/word spacing and size. A five-word sentence featuring CVCC, CCVC words and a double vowel sound is used.
Greater Depth Decide which statement is correct using knowledge of correct letter/word spacing and size. A six-word sentence featuring CVCC and CCVC is used, with an increased amount of ascenders and descenders.
