Children's understanding of place value within 20 will be air tight after using our Year 2 Numbers to 20 Discussion Problem! Pupils will investigate which three numbers each character has rolled, representing these as images, numerals and words. This challenge is a great way to bring together all of a child's previous learning.

Give this activity to pairs or small groups to work through. You could even extend them by providing dice and allowing them to create their own representations too!
