No formal objective. However, these words are taken from the year 3/4 non-statutory spelling list and the focus is given to vocabulary of abstract concepts in line with the Spoken Language Guidance.

Differentiation:

Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Varied Fluency)
Developing Tick the sentences that contain abstract nouns. Uses short sentences containing common abstract nouns that children may already be familiar with.
Expected Tick the sentences that contain abstract nouns. Uses sentences of varying length, containing a mixture of common and less familiar abstract nouns.
Greater Depth Tick the sentences that contain abstract nouns. Uses sentences of varying length, with more less common abstract nouns used.
