Packing Challenge

Mathematics Year 3: Add and subtract numbers with up to three digits, using formal written methods of columnar addition and subtraction.

Compass Points

Geography KS2: Use the eight points of a compass, four and six-figure grid references, symbols and key (including the use of Ordnance Survey maps) to build their knowledge of the United Kingdom and the wider world.

Section A Use four compass points to make quarter, half, three quarter and complete turns clockwise and anti-clockwise. Aimed at Year 3 Emerging.
Section B Use four compass points to turn 90, 180, 270 and 360 degrees clockwise or anti-clockwise. Aimed at Year 3 Secure/Year 4 Emerging.
