Reading: English Y5/6: Discuss and evaluate how authors use language, including figurative language, considering the impact on the reader
Other: Geography KS2: understand geographical similarities and differences through the study of human and physical geography of a region of the United Kingdom, a region in a European country, and a region in North or South America
Science:
Y4: recognise that environments can change and that this can sometimes pose dangers to living things
Y4: construct and interpret a variety of food chains, identifying producers, predators and prey.
Y6: identify how animals and plants are adapted to suit their environment in different ways and that adaptation may lead to evolution
