This drag and drop activity enables children to develop their understanding and recognition of 2D shapes. Children are required to drag and drop everyday objects to match the correct 2D shapes.

(M-10) Talk about and explore 2D and 3D shapes (for example, circles, rectangles, triangles and cuboids) using informal and mathematical language: ‘sides’, ‘corners’; ‘straight’, ‘flat’, ‘round’.
