This EYFS What Shape Can You See? IWB activity includes questions that explore 3D shapes and their names. Children are required to select the correct label for each 3D shape. 3D shapes are represented using everyday objects. The 3D shapes that are included are: cube, sphere, cuboid, pyramid, cone and cylinder.

Early Learning Goal
(ELG12) Children use everyday language to talk about size, weight, capacity, position, distance, time and money to compare quantities and objects and to solve problems. They recognise, create and describe patterns. They explore characteristics of everyday objects and shapes and use mathematical language to describe them.
