This Goodnight Mister Tom Chapter 7 Comprehension has differentiated questions and activities to be used in a Whole Class Reading session based on the first chapter of the popular novel by Michelle Magorian. In this chapter, Willie is invited blackberry picking with George and the twins. Zach invites himself along but the twins are not happy that they have to show the ‘townies’ around. Whilst blackberry picking, Zach and the others begin to talk and share about their lives. Willie is content to just listen and gets flustered when they ask him questions. Later, when they are back home, Tom shows Willie the shelter. He has added some candles and made it more homely. We recommend using this novel with Year 5 or Year 6.
