Differentiation:
Beginner Given five 3-digit numbers: identify which is closer and which is furthest to a given hundreds value. Aimed at Year 3 Secure/Year 4 Emerging.
Easy Given five 4-digit or 5-digit numbers: identify which is closer and which is furthest to a given thousands or hundred value. Aimed at Year 3 Mastery/Year 4 Secure/Year 5 Emerging.
Tricky Given five 5-digit or 6-digit numbers: identify which is closer and which is furthest to a given hundreds of thousands or tens of thousands value. Aimed at Year 4 Mastery/Year 5 Secure/Year 6 Emerging.
Expert Given five 6-digit or 7-digit numbers: identify which is closer and which is furthest to a given million or hundreds of thousands value. Aimed at Year 5 Mastery/Year 6 Secure.
