About this Resource
Children to roll two or three dice and count the number rolled. Children to either count and multiply, cube or square the number rolled (dependant on task, see top instructions). Children to use the key to find the number and identify which element of the picture to draw. If their total is not on the key, children should roll again. If they make the same total twice, the children should roll again to generate a different total. The aim is to finish their picture in as few rolls as possible.
Cooperative play: Children are encouraged to play this game with a friend or in a group. Each child will have a sheet, take it turns to roll the dice and aim to complete their picture first. This resource could also be used as an intervention to support basic multiplication skills.
