Y2 Grammar Punctuation and Spelling
This Compound Noun lesson covers the prior learning of recognising and using common nouns and proper nouns, before moving onto the main skill of understanding compound nouns.
The lesson starts with a prior learning activity to check pupils’ understanding. If they need more practice, you can choose other resources for that step. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning with engaging reasoning and application tasks.
