Tables Lesson
This Year 3 Tables lesson covers the prior learning of making tally charts, before moving onto the main skill of reading and interpreting tables.
The lesson starts with a prior learning worksheet to check pupils’ understanding. The interactive lesson slides recap the prior learning before moving on to the main skill. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning by completing an engaging extension task.

Mathematics Year 3: (3S1) Interpret and present data using bar charts, pictograms and tables
Mathematics Year 3: (3S2) Solve one-step and two-step questions [for example, ‘How many more?’ and ‘How many fewer?’] using information presented in scaled bar charts and pictograms and tables
