Think your class are full to the brim with their measurement knowledge? We challenge them to take on our Year 3 Measure Capacity Discussion Problem to really test what they know! This resource includes two challenging questions that require curiosity, investigative and methodical thinking skills. This is a great resource to use at the end of this lesson when children feel confident at measuring capacity. It works well alongside the rest of the resources in this lesson too.

An ideal activity to use for small groups or as a paired activity. Individual learners can tackle this activity, if they have a competent level of understanding. We've included an example answer sheet for children to compare their outcomes to. It can be used as a way to show children there are multiple answers too.
