Use this Stars challenge sheet to support and assess pupils' growing confidence with their twelve times tables. It includes three challenges:

• The main challenge focuses on repetition of the twelve times table, whilst recapping previously taught facts.

• The Shining Bright challenge covers the twelve times table in a systematic order. 

• The Stellar Performance challenge asks pupils to recall division facts, infer with word problems and complete a number grid.

  This resource could be used as an intervention, help to boost a class’ recall, or work as a whole-school program that children can work through from Year 1 to Year 6. The resource includes a certificate to encourage participation through the challenges. Once children have completed this challenge, they have finally Reached the Stars! When they are ready, they can continue their space adventure as they travel to an asteroid by recalling their division facts.
