Looking for a new class activity to use on your first week back? This KS1 and KS2 My New Class Ordering Numbers Activity provides a fantastic exercise for children to problem-solve using a real-life scenario whilst you assess some of their basic knowledge.

Stepping into the role of a teacher who has finally received their class list for the following September, children will complete a series of new class-themed tasks, from arranging class lists in alphabetical order, creating a birthday schedule, and organising children by height for a class photograph. Finally, they decide where everyone should sit according to specific criteria.

This resource has been adapted to six different levels so that every child can access it and enjoy the challenges it presents. Answer pages are available for each task at each level to encourage self- or peer marking.

This resource is designed to align to White Rose Maths version 3. Classroom Secrets Limited is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way connected to White Rose Education Limited.
