Use this KS1 True or False Statements Reading Test Practice to give your pupils the opportunity to practise answering true or false questions about texts they have read.

The activity comes with three levels of differentiation:

Set 1: Includes 3 different text types (narrative, diary extract and instructions) followed by questions requiring children to identify 6 true or false statements using information from the text. Aimed at Year 1 Secure.

Set 2: Includes 3 different text types (narrative, diary extract and instructions) followed by questions requiring children to identify 8 true or false statements using information from the text. Aimed at Year 2 Developing.

Set 3: Includes 4 different text types (narrative, diary extract, instructions and a non-chronological report) followed by questions requiring children to identify 10 true or false statements using information from the text. Aimed at Year 2 Secure.
