Do you want a quick and easy way to check children's understanding of different word types? Use our Key Stage 1 Types of Word Test Practice to gain a great overview of your class. This resource has been differentiated into four levels of challenge and there are two tests per level of challenge. Each test includes multiple choice questions that can be used across year 1 and year 2.

You could use all four levels of differentiation in one year group, or split the levels of challenge across the key stage to show the progress made.
