Are your class ready to show that they know their adjectives from their adverbs and their conjunctions from their verbs? Let them loose on this Key Stage 2 Identifying Word Classes Test Practice. This resource is suitable for all ages in key stage 2 as it is differentiated into four levels of challenge. The different levels ask children to identify different word classes and progressively gets harder.

Use as part of your main lesson as a starter activity, or schedule them in as part of your ongoing assessment within class. Alternatively, you could use this as a homework resource or an extension activity. Each level of challenge has two tests that are great for finding gaps in children's learning and can inform any intervention groups that are needed. There's also an answer sheet for each test too.

Differentiation:

Easy Identifying verbs, nouns and adjectives.
