This resource has been differentiated into six levels of challenge to offer you choice in supporting all learners in your classroom. The activities increase in difficulty as the levels of challenge increase and include tasks such as: identifying noun phrases in sentences, adding adjectives to create expanded noun phrases and creating noun phrases based on an image from the text, to name but a few.

Use this resource as an independent task in class with your children during a guided reading session as a follow-up activity. Alternatively, this can be used in a small group such as an intervention group, or as a homework activity.
