Assess what your children know and understand about using standard English with this KS2 Using Saw and Seen resource.

With two differentiated levels available, each level contains two worksheets to choose from with twelve questions for children to complete. They will need to use and apply their knowledge of saw and seen to correctly complete the sentences.

Although ideal for use as an assessment, this resource could easily be given to children as additional practice and would be suitable for use in both class and at home.

Curriculum Objectives

  • Develop their understanding of the concepts set out in English appendix 2 by: Using the present perfect form of verbs in contrast to the past tense / Use of the present perfect form of verbs instead of the simple past [for example, He has gone out to play contrasted with He went out to play]
