Put your children's knowledge of different word classes to the test with this Key Stage 2 Verb, Subject, Object Test Practice. This resource is differentiated into three levels of challenge and is suitable for children in year 5 and year 6. There are two tests per level of challenge eight sentences on each test. Children must identify the verb, subject and object within the sentences. The challenge increases as children progress through the levels too.
Use in class as part of an ongoing assessment or as an introduction to a lesson. It's a great resource to identify gaps in learning, and it will help you to plan future interventions. You could also use this as a homework activity or an extension task too. The answers are included and easy-to-follow for children to use as a peer or self-assessment tool.
