Your pupils will be exploding with poetic language after exploring our Volcanoes Poetry Comparison Guided Reading Pack. Children will begin by reading two very different style poems before answering a range of different style questions. We've encouraged children to think about the impact different phrases have on the reader, as well as why certain words may have been used. An additional task also requires children to find the meaning of new and unusual vocabulary.
