This UKS2 The Girl of Ink and Stars Writing Unit What Do You Picture? worksheet provides the opportunity for children to visualise the setting described in the book by Kiran Millwood Hargrave. It is a chance to focus in on the language and to consider what they know for certain but also to explore what details their mind has filled in. This can lead to discussions about what in the text has led them to include these elements. Perhaps challenge the children to think about what they may have written if they had composed the description.
