Build on children's understanding of length with this Year 1 Compare Lengths Reasoning and Problem Solving. Children will apply their knowledge of comparing lengths using longer than, shorter than and equal to to complete three reasoning and problem-solving questions.

They will utilise their knowledge of how to compare lengths, by ensuring both objects have the same start point. They will use this understanding to solve two reasoning questions. They will also compare up to three objects in a comparison statement.
