This Year 1 Measure Mass Teaching PPT introduces children to the key skills and understanding needed to measure the mass of objects using non-standard units. Pupils will learn how to measure the mass of objects using balance scales and non-standard units such as cubes, pencils or rubbers.

The presentation is structured into Let’s Learn sections, where new concepts and vocabulary are clearly modelled, and Let’s Practise sections, where children can apply their understanding straight away through short, engaging activities.
