What’s included in the Year 1 Months of the Year Homework resource and why is it useful?

Year 1 Months of the Year Homework is a worksheet to consolidate this step after it has been taught, at home or in class. The content includes two varied fluency questions, one problem solving question and a full answer sheet, covering naming and spelling the months of the year, reading calendars and identifying the months that have 31 days.

Expected

• Q1 filling in missing letters to complete the names of the twelve months of the year.
• Q2 using three calendars to complete sentences about the number of days in a month and the order of the months.
• Q3 checking a list of the months with 31 days and explaining which month is missing.
