Build children's confidence with using the months of the year in order with our Year 1 Months of the Year Varied Fluency worksheet. Children will complete sequences of months and will complete stem sentences by comparing the position of months within a year.

This is a perfect opportunity for children to practise reciting the months in order. An extra layer of challenge is added due to the sequences starting with months mid-way through the year.

  • Sequence events in chronological order using language [for example, before and after, next, first, today, yesterday, tomorrow, morning, afternoon and evening]
  • Recognise and use language relating to dates, including days of the week, weeks, months and years
