This resource recaps the Part-Whole Model step so that children are prepared for the Tens and Ones step that is coming. The Year 1 Tens and Ones resource is made up of two activities - a specific maths activity and an outdoor activity - that encourages children to get to grips with part-whole models. Short prompts in the form of questions and briefs for each activity are given to allow the activity to run smoothly.
