Improve children's in-depth knowledge of understanding number lines to 20 by using this easy to follow discussion problem. Children will have the opportunity to dig deeper to make connections between numbers to 20 and apply this to problem-solving with number lines to 20.
We envisage this resource to be used in a small group either independently or as an adult-led activity. Other ways to utilise this discussion problem would be to recreate this in a practical setting or as part of your continuous provision activities too.
