Year 1 Unitising Homework is a worksheet to consolidate this step after it has been taught, at home or in class. The content includes two varied fluency questions, one problem solving question and a full answer sheet, covering unitising with counters worth 1, 2, 5 and 10 to show totals, find groups worth 20 and compare total values.

Expected

• Q1 drawing the fewest counters worth 1, 2, 5 or 10 to match two totals.
• Q2 ticking all the groups of counters that have a total value of 20.
• Q3 deciding which child has the greater total value of counters, and explaining how they know.
