This Year 2 Spelling Baseline Assessment focuses on a range of different spellings in order to help children develop their understanding of how to take spelling assessments. These assessments have been designed to assess children's understanding of spelling content domains to help teachers to identify gaps in understanding. The resource is presented in a format similar to that used in the end of key stage assessments so that children can become more familiar with that particular style. A teacher script is included.
