Allow children to apply their knowledge of place value by completing this Year 3 100s, 10s, 1s 2 resource. We've created three different question styles, including two varied fluency questions and a reasoning question for your class to tackle. All questions include the use of place value counters to reinforce the learning that takes place in this lesson. This resource has been differentiated three ways to support all levels of challenge.

An ideal hundreds, tens and ones activity to be used as an extension task within your lesson. Alternatively, you can use this as your homework activity for children to consolidate their learning at home. A fully modelled answer sheet is provided to speed up your marking or why not encourage peer and self marking.
