Worksheet
An image of the How Many Ways? Mixed Activity Resource

Finding all of the combinations presented by images is a tricky task. You start off with the question 'How Many Ways?' and end with the question 'Is that all of the ways?' (usually followed with a 'Hmm, I don't know). Well, hopefully, this very aesthetically pleasing Year 3 How Many Ways activity will help children to develop their understanding of how many combinations they can make from different objects. The sheet is made up of three varied fluency and three reasoning and problem-solving tasks so that children can attempt a variety of questions. An answer sheet is also provided for your perusal.
