Worksheet

Use this Year 3 Recognising Determiners Application and Reasoning worksheet to challenge pupils' understanding of when to use demonstrative, quantifying and possessive determiners in sentences. With one application and two reasoning questions, children are asked to rewrite a sentence with the correct determiner, explain whether the determiner has been identified correctly in a sentence and explain if a sentence will still make sense if the determiner is changed.

This differentiated resource provides you with a choice of three levels meaning that there is something for everyone to access. All answers are provided too to make marking quick and easy.
