Year 3 Spot the Pattern Deeper Reasoning Discussion Problem consists of two open ended questions that are not easily solvable, promote discussion and have multiple solutions. The questions in this set focus on investigating the clues to identify the pattern to deepen understanding in adding and subtracting numbers mentally, including three-digit numbers and ones, three-digit numbers and tens and three-digit numbers and hundreds.

Our discussion problems are a unique offering at Classroom Secrets and are designed for to challenge your children who fly through everything, allowing them to stay within their year group but still have their capabilities stretched. We believe in progress for every child, not just the average child.
