There are three different question types for children to work through and put their skills to the test.
Use this resource after children have practised their varied fluency skills by telling the time to 5 minutes with analogue clocks. Alternatively, this could be used as a challenge activity or discussed in small groups or pairs. A fully explained answer sheet has been provided to aid peer or self marking or use it to cut down your workload.
Curriculum Objectives
- Tell and write the time from an analogue clock, including using Roman numerals from I to XII
- Estimate and read time with increasing accuracy to the nearest minute; record and compare time in terms of seconds, minutes and hours; use vocabulary such as o’clock, a.m./p.m., morning, afternoon, noon and midnight
