This Year 3 Time Mistake Investigators resource is designed to develop children’s problem-solving and reasoning skills by encouraging them to identify and explain mistakes.

For each objective, there are four carefully structured questions: one with a correct answer and three with mistakes. Children are challenged to spot the error, find the correct answer, and explain their thinking.

This resource is ideal for group work, encouraging discussion and collaborative learning. It targets key time objectives, including telling and writing the time from an analogue clock, estimating and reading time to the nearest minute with increasing accuracy, and comparing the durations of events.

If you’re looking for a resource that builds confidence and deepens reasoning, this is the perfect choice!
