Worksheet

Simon's room is very untidy but he wants to explain why. In this writing task children are asked to use prepositions to express cause to write a paragraph and explain why his room is untidy. Children are provided with a word bank of prepositions of cause to inspire their writing.

This Year 3 Using Prepositions to Express Cause Application worksheet would be a great assessment tool as children use what they know about prepositions and apply it to their writing. This activity can be completed independently but could also be used as a discussion point for small groups or interventions.

The worksheet comes with a model answer which can be shared with the children as a good example or to aid your marking.
