Behind the door is your favourite place in the world!

In this writing task, children are asked to use prepositions to express place to write a paragraph describing what is behind the door. Children are provided with a word bank of prepositions of place to inspire their writing.

This Year 3 Using Prepositions to Express Place Application worksheet would be a great assessment tool as children use what they know about prepositions and apply it to their writing. This activity can be completed independently but could also be used as a discussion point for small groups or interventions.
