This Year 4 Speech Application Worksheet provides children with the opportunity to complete a writing task where they can demonstrate their use and understanding of direct and indirect speech. They are presented with an image and asked to use both direct and indirect speech to write a conversation.

This worksheet can be completed independently, in pairs or as a teacher-led activity. It could be used in class or at home to give children the opportunity to apply their learning.
