This Year 4 Consolidating Speech PowerPoint guides you through the features and punctuation of speech. It containing teaching points, varied fluency, application and reasoning style questions. This is a great teaching tool as it clearly shows the difference between direct and indirect speech and how these should be punctuated. The questions throughout the PowerPoint allow the children to put into practise what they are learning. As this is a consolidation lesson the children should be familiar with using speech and therefore use this as an opportunity to refresh and embed their learning.
