By using this Year 4 Suffixes Guidance, your class will be word wizards in no time! This document begins with a whole year overview so that you can see our suggested teaching sequence for GPS. It is followed by an information page to explain where this pack fits into the curriculum and then moves on to share the objectives and small step lesson names.

Each small step, or lesson, has a planning page that gives you notes and guidance to show what children should know at the start of the lesson and moves on to explain the expected outcomes. There are also a number of focused questions that can be used throughout the lesson to check children's understanding. Each plan provided works well with the corresponding resources for the lesson and these include a teaching PowerPoint, worksheets and much more!
