This Year 5 Compare Numbers up to 1,000,000 (Recap) Reasoning and Problem Solving revisits prior learning from earlier in Year 5 to deepen knowledge of comparing numbers less than one million so that it is ready to build on in further small steps and in Year 6. Children will use place value knowledge to find digits that could be missing in a comparison statement, compare house prices and make numbers using digits that follow given criteria.
