This Year 5 Compare Numbers up to 1,000,000 (Recap) Varied Fluency revisits prior learning from earlier in Year 5 to deepen knowledge of comparing numbers less than one million so that it is ready to build on in further small steps and in Year 6. Children will use place value counters to identify numbers greater or smaller than a given number, compare population data for UK cities and use comparison symbols to compare three numbers. All answers are also included so that marking is as easy as possible!
