This Year 5 Order Numbers up to 1,000,000 (Recap) Reasoning and Problem Solving resource revisits prior learning from earlier in Year 5 to deepen knowledge of ordering numbers less than one million so that it is ready to build on in further small steps and in Year 6. Children will analyse errors in whether a place value grid has been used to order 6-digit numbers correctly, explain an error made by a child when ordering numbers and find possible numbers to satisfy conditions for a problem. All answers are also included so that marking is as easy as possible!
