Use this Year 5 Converting Millimetres Varied Fluency resource to give your pupils practice converting measurements in millimetres to measurements in metres and vice versa. In the first question, they use a function machine to convert from measurements made in millimetres to metres. In the second question, they get further practice converting measurements when they order a mixed set of measurements. In the final reasoning question, they convert measurements in order to find a fraction part of a whole. Each question has two parts to promote fluency.
