Use this Year 5 Converting Millimetres Reasoning and Problem Solving resource to give your pupils the chance to apply their knowledge of converting between millimetres and metres.

In the first question, they use their reasoning powers to decide whether a statement is correct and to explain their ideas. In the second question, they work out what measurements could go into a function machine to obtain a certain result. In the final question, they explain the process of converting between millimetres and metres with another reasoning question. Each question has two similar parts to promote pupils' confidence.
