Use this Year 5 Degrees in Angles and Turns Varied Fluency resource to allow your class to secure their knowledge of the number of degrees in commonly encountered angles and turns.
The first question uses clock faces to show various types of angle, progressing to calculating and drawing an angle in the second question. In the third question, children are shown a compass and asked to calculate the number of degrees between certain points.
There are two similar parts to each question and an answer sheet provided for teachers and children who are marking their own work.
A fluency matrix and a reasoning and problem solving resource is also available for this small step.
