Estimating capacity is a pretty decent skill to have in real life - stops spillages and all sorts. But before children move on to the Year 5 Estimate Capacity step, why not make sure they are comfortable with the skills required to access the step, by first recapping the related Compare Capacity step. This resource uses varied fluency and reasoning and problem-solving questions from that step to ensure that children are secure enough to move on to estimating capacity. Makes sense to me!
