Use this Year 5 Omitting Relative Pronouns Application and Reasoning worksheet to challenge pupils' understanding of how to omit pronouns whilst ensuring that the sentences still makes sense. With one application and two reasoning questions, children are asked to rewrite sentences, omitting the relative pronoun, explain which sentence is the odd one out and explain whether the relative pronoun can be omitted from the sentence.

It provides you with a choice of three levels meaning that there is something for everyone to access. All answers are provided to make marking quick and easy.
